The collection of research articles below demonstrates some of the therapeutic benefits of cereal grasses, all of which have therapeutic properties e.g. wheat, rye, barley. Ever since the 1930's, various attempts have been made to explain the physiological mechanisms involved in the healing processes frequently observed by these grasses.

Also, although chlorophyll is often attributed with medicinal and healing properties, there is none in the wheatgrass extract I have used therapeutically since 1995. Clearly, there exists another means whereby wheatgrass achieves therapeutic benefits.

This article attempts to explain how wheatgrass extract could assist recovery of a broad spectrum of human (and animal) conditions.
