Relieving aches, pains & stiffness in the elderly

Elderly people suffering from niggling aches and pains, stiffness, back pain etc., should be able to relieve their pain and enjoy their quality of life to the full.

Pain-reducing (analgesic) drugs such as paracetamol (Panadol/ Tylenol) and anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen (Brufen) and diclofenac (Voltaren), may provide relief for a few hours, but negative side effects can cause problems.

Instead, I suggest applying a little wheatgrass extract once a day to painful muscles and joints, particularly in the lower back and stiffened joints. Using just a little, this can do much to reduce pain and stiffness and to help one sleep better.

Wheatgrass extract can quickly soften and loosen up connective tissue in the fingers, back and all joints. It can also hasten recovery of swollen joints and bruising due to injuries.

Also, bruising and pain caused by anticoagulants and other drugs can be reduced significantly by applying just a small amount of wheatgrass extract over the affected area(s), once a day. The extract also reduces swelling and bruising, and helps heal damaged skin.

One last tip. Don't overtreat.

"Less is best" when it comes to using wheatgrass extract for healing and pain relief.
