Wheatgrass extract is a highly effective hemostatic agent that stops bleeding from open wounds, deep-seated bleeding in muscles, and even a "blood nose". If it's available apply two or three drops of wheatgrass extract inside or over the bleeding nostril with a cotton bud/Q-tip, then pinch the nose with finger and thumb encouraging breathing through the mouth. Bleeding should stop in five to ten minutes. If not, seek medical assistance.
